Explosive begin for year 2010 for BBU
On the 6th February there will be the first fight for BBU titles during the year 2010. First promoter to publish the info over Baltic Boxing Union title fight was Finland-based Caramelito Promotions with their chairman Petro Koskimies. One year ago Caramelito Promotions promoted the title defence for BBU´s former heavyweight titlist Juho Haapoja and this time there will be on line the vacant BBU International championship belt in Super Middleweight bout between Sami Selesmaa (FIN) and Anton Sjomkin (EST).
Selesmaa who is one of the most experienced active Finnish boxers (when noticing his amateur background too) has collected three straight victories during his pro career which started back in April 2009. Sjomkin in turn turned pro back in December 2006 when he knocked out Finnish boxer Harri Okkonen in the first round. The upcoming bout will be the first title fight for both boxers.
