Maciec successful with his title defense!
Polish Lukasz Maciec defended successfully his Baltic Boxing Union International
Light Welterweight title on last Saturday at Lublin, Poland.
Young and talented Maciec showed great development since his first BBU International title fight back in April this year. Lukasz Maciec controlled the whole fight from the beginning of the first round till the final second of the last stanza. Although Gojko took more punishment than almost allowed he was able to stand till the last bell but lost with points 54-60.
Maciec who was in very great shape after having the first defeat of his career only a month ago and was the aggressor in this fight which was the main event in the show promoted by Paco Team.
The show contained also another professional boxing fight with Lublin-based Damian Szewczyk making a victorious debut. Also there were
female amateur Karolina Michalczuk (the European and World champion) who won her 4r fight against 5kg heavier Ukrainian boxer and showed that she will be ready for 2012 Olympics.
