Polish Pawel Glazewski became last night at Nowy Dwor, Poland the third ever champion who successfully defended either his BBU or BBU International title. The show promoted by Tomasz Babilonski contained three professional boxing matches with Glazewski-Tchoula as main event for the BBU International title.
In the first round both boxers tried to take control of the fight and to see how the opponent had prepared for this fight. KO-artist Leo Tchoula (CAM/GER) who was 7-0 with 7 KO before this fight, wanted to get in half distance and to make a fast KO but Glazewski was
very wise knowing Tchoula has a stron punch and keep the distance between him and Leo´s strong right hooks and straight punches. The defending champion clearly won the opening round.
In the next two rounds the scenario from the first was in action; Tchoula tried to get in half distance but Pawel Glazewski showed his skills and outboxed Tchoula when the Berlin-based Cameroon desperately tried to hit Glazewski. The only judge Mr. Zbigniew Lagosz gave the 3rd round to the Cameroonian which was more even then the first two.
The rest of the fight was a great show of Glazewski boxing skills dominating absolutely the rest of the bout. In round five Glazewski´s performance was so strong that he got a chance to score knockdown over his this far undefeated opponent.
Last two rounds showed Tchoula frustration of the fight and no chance for a victory. After six rounds Glazewski´s hand was raised as the sign of victory with points 59-55.
The main event of the show really pleased the crowd because both fighter gave their best while fighting for the title by showing their big heart for boxing. Pawel Glazewski proved that he is one of the biggest prospects in Polish boxing arena. With the victory Glazewski improved to 8-0, 3KO, while Tchoula dropped to 7-1, 7KO.
